Our Journey to Gracie

We give thanks to our Lord for such a blessing as this. We are again feeling so blessed to be chosen to be the parents to another wonderful angel from China. Gracie is our third gift from China. We brought Hannah home in 2004 and Caleb home in 2005. It is beyond our wildest dreams to again be taking that journey to China to add another blessing to our family.

July 14th,2007
Sorry there was no post yesterday but I did type a long post with pictures and everything but I didn't push the right button to publish to the blog apparently. Anyway, today we went to the Great Wall and Summer Palace. The Great Wall was Great. We went to an area called JuYongGuan. We had to walk up. Tim went way up but Hannah and I not as far. We did climb to several levels before we stopped. Hannah did very well before her little legs gave out. She has made great friends with 2 other little girls named Katie and Nina. Katie is 6 and the daughter of Devon and Nina is 3 the daughter of Shannon and Louis. The 3 of them have been having a great time. We had lunch at the friendship store at the Great Wall. Chinese family style, many interesting dishes. Hannah ate rice and these little slices of meat that looked like ham. I tried the sweet and sour chicken and some of the vegetables and the rice. We walked the summmer palace and took the boat ride back. Later we drove past the new Olympic Stadium. Very large and different.
Tomorrow we fly to Changsha and get Grace on Monday. Tomorrow will be very long. I'll try to post a few pictures as well.
Keep praying for Gracie to be ready for her new family. Pray for our safe travel tomorrow as well. I'll post pictures of Gracie soon.
